a living drollery
Sun ~ 1 Jun 2008 ~ 3.32 pm - Oh, hell, I'll post them anyway.
Lucy quieter mood
Ever since last year, when I sent my great big light table to live in the basement (where it belonged), I've been in a major funk about where to take dollpictures...thus have hardly taken any. This must cease! So I took these on my front porch in absolutely rotten light...ah, well, at least the background was plain. Not what I'd call great artistic heights by any stretch, but a few shots of Lucy & Simone swanning around in their Tanya Style duds. ^^ Tanya Style is nifty--lovely quality & very reasonable prices--go forth & shop!

Lucy's the Sharmin, Simone's the Lusis.

And another handful under the cut. )

Next: Three years with August. :D
Wed ~ 13 Feb 2008 ~ 12.38 am - Secret River.

Posting about Simone's homeiversary got me thinking about this photoshoot, which I figure a lot of you haven't seen, or have only seen snippets of. They were for a sweater sale--2 Mini-size sleeveless Chaos Lace sweaters, Secret Path & Secret River. Secret Path had a big cowlneck/hood thing & Secret River had a 28-inch train. I took the girls out to the local rock quarry & found the perfect spot! I think these are some of the best pictures I've taken of Simone (and Lucy--the Sharmin wearing S. Path--although these pics were for S. River's auction, so they focus on Simone). I made the raggedy little outfits, too. Hope you enjoy the pics!

Ten more. )
Sun ~ 17 Sep 2006 ~ 12.09 am - I have returned, with knitwear. :p
knitting isaos in dreams
Sorry about the drop-out, there...my gastroparesis is on the rampage & there are contractor dudes crawling all over my house, so all I can do in the face of the nausea & ungodly racket, etc. is spend countless hours at the farm, Sitting Very Still [TM] & knitting my little fingers off. Thank heavens that my knitting libido picked back up at the end of August. ;; I've been doing some pattern streamlining as well as some new prototype-things.

So now I have at least 7 sweaters lined up for my first eBay auctions of the season! Here's a brief run-down, if you want to see what mortally nauseated people do with their time. ^^ All of these pictures are dreadful, most with a flash & just sort of randomly taken, but they work for teasers, right? Of course right.

~~"Lycopene," a mohair turtle/cowlneck for SD13 sizes:

And here's the rest... )

~~"Lockpick," a merino ribknit pullover for SD16's, is still in progress. Jeebus, what a pain in the drain! I'm of a mind to start it at $60 just for all the endless hours of toil it's required of me. ;;

I'm also planning to open for some limited commissions at the end of the month, because I've had (joy!) a lot of interest about it. I have a bunch of new things planned & a ton of new yarn, not to mention that pesky nausea that doesn't seem to want to lay off, so hopefully I'll get lots done.

I hope everybody's well & having a good end-of-summer...I have dollnews, & I'll be wading back into the friendslist any time now! I missed you guys & want to catch up. Feels like I've been gone for ages! *__*
Sun ~ 2 Apr 2006 ~ 3.39 am - Virgil & Simone
simone white hair

It was a lovely early-Spring Saturday...the birds were building nests, the sun was making everything glow...the dolls were posing for some nice cuddly couple pictures. ♥

BUT.

Virgil is an SD-16 Yukinojo & Simone is a white Unoa Lusis.

So if you've got a Size Squick, turn away. Turn away. )

4 pictures, cute & tame. 65/45 ahoy!
Sat ~ 1 Apr 2006 ~ 2.18 am - Simone in a slip.

I've been neglecting my beautiful girl horribly. And since I couldn't take good Virgil/Simone pictures today (storm-->crap lighting, power outage), I thought I'd tidy up some of her earlier pictures I'd been meaning to post, anyway.

She fills out the fullslip a bit differently from Our Lucy... )

The pinup-girl ones will have to go in the adult filter. ^^
Wed ~ 22 Feb 2006 ~ 3.50 am - Not a unicorn, but still rare & snowy.

Well, I'm only 3+ weeks late here...not bad. -_- I love being sick.

Anyway. On 30 Jan, my rare white Araki-painted Unoa Lusis came home. Her name's Simone and she's all frosty-lipped-trashy-boobarella-wonderful and we LOVE her.

Yeah, like you want to read my chatter anymore. Pics! )

Welcome home, Simone!
