While I still cringe at the memory of some of the bizarro things I received from my ex-fiancé, my boys take the cake on weird (yet sweet) engagement presents. Aubrey got August a pair of tabi feet (so he can kimono himself to death for their wedding)...and ( August let Aubrey try on Deep Shadow. )

(Deep Shadow is a OOAK ensemble from the fabulous Amy of Softly She Walks. I am forever in awe.)

About a month ago, Aubrey visited me in the office, dragging his Heath default wig behind him. He asked me to sell it. And then he asked me to use the money to place an order for him. I did so. His order came a few weeks ago, & he has been a nervous wreck ever since.

But last night, he asked August a Question. And August said ( Yes. )

And despite the fact that Aub nearly suffered an oh-God-he'll-say-NO!! breakdown
running up to that point, the rest of us all knew what the answer would be.

We are celebrating the Return of the Light in style at my house this year.
